La Chaise By Charles and Ray Eames for Vitra

Designed by husband and wife design duo Charles and Ray Eames in 1948, Le Chaise is said to be inspired by sculptor Gaston Lachaise’s “The Floating Figure”. The Vitra La Chaise features the same fluid lines as the famous bronze sculpture created in 1927 and the name is a play on the artist’s name.
