Unlike most rocking chairs, the Yellow Steel Rocker doesn’t rock back and forth. This uber-cool contemporary rocker rocks from side to side instead. Isaac Arms, the chairs designer, takes his rough design and drops it into state-of-the-art 3D computer software where he is able to work out his complicated furniture designs and expand them into 2D shapes which he cuts from sheets of solid steel using a computer controlled plasma cutter. These flat shapes fit together perfectly and are precisely welded together to form this amazingly bold and chunky Steel Rocker.
