Remember those funky mod fireplaces from the 50′s and 60s that looked like some cool rounded pod-like shape made completely out of metal and suspended from the ceiling by a narrow chimney pipe. They were not so much for heating an entire house so much as they were designed to create a hip and cozy atmosphere.
