Space Saver Floor Lamp

This sleek and contemporary floor lamp is a great way to save a little space in a small room or apartment. First off, it you don’t need to find a small end or side table then find a decent looking lamp to fit on top of it, this table lamp takes up the job of both all in one compact and attractive package.

Lets start with the lamp, it has an 8″ white fabric shade that is cylindrical and throws off plenty of light for reading or just general lighting. It is suspended over the ebony finished table top by a square, tubular, brushed steel rod the passes through the shelves and takes up almost no surface area. This leaves plenty of space on the double hung shelves for a beverage or a paperback or just to use for display.

The base is made from the same brushed steel and has such a narrow footprint that it will easily fit in even the smallest area like beside a lounge chair or flanking a cool contemporary sofa. The base, its widest point, is only 13″ x 12″ and provides a sturdy footprint and the shelves are only about 10″ wide on this compact, contemporary floor lamp and end table combined.
