Grasshopper Chair by Eero Saarinen
The Grasshopper Chair was designed by Eero Saarinen in 1949. Although it was never as popular as some of Saarninen's other chair designs. It is every bit as cool and stylish and it is extremely comfortable. It has a casual laid back style with a graceful bent maple frame and its curved legs look like it could hop away at any moment.
Originally issued by Knoll, it fell out of production for several years until it was recently reissued by Modernica. Its elegant mid-century feeling that looks best when complimented with the Grasshopper Ottoman sold separately. You can choose from three different wood finishes; classic, natural and maple. It can be upholstered in any of a large range of fabrics and colors offered by Modernica including Sunbrella fabrics and really cool leathers.
